INVITATION FOR BIDS The Village of Clatonia, Nebraska, invites you to submit a sealed bid for: Water Tower, Well & System Improvements Clatonia, Nebraska - 2014 Project Description: For furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals as follows: Municipal Water Well and Well House. Project work shall include drilling a water supply well, construction of concrete block well house, and SCADA system. Transmission Main, Distribution System Loop & Improvements. Project work shall include construction of approximately 1,875 LF of 6 and 8-inch transmission main from the new well house and water tower site, as well as the proposed distribution system improvements. Elevated Water Storage Tank: Project work shall consist of construction of a 75,000 gallon elevated spheroid steel water storage tank with an add alternate for a mixing system. Existing Tower Demolition: Project work shall include an add alternate for demolishing and removing the existing tower and for all appurtenances on the existing tower site. Water Meters: Project work includes the replacement of approximately 141 residential water meters of various sizes with a positive displacement or multi-jet type water meter. An AMR type (radio read) meter reading system, compatible with the type of water meters being supplied shall also be included. Alternate project work shall include changing the type of water meter to a fluidic oscillator or ultrasonic type water meter. The project shall be funded by USDA Rural Development. The Contractor shall comply with all program requirements as detailed in the Contract Documents.
