B&B Nonprofit spreads goodness to those with dementia

TOMORROW - Origami workshop with artist Linda Stephen at Crete Public Library

Award-winning artist, author and illustrator Linda Stephen will share step by step how to fold papers to make easy origami flowers, butterflies and baskets for greeting cards or gifts on Saturday, June 7 at 2 p.m. at the Crete Public Library. This workshop is designed for beginners of any age. Children should be accompanied by an adult. If you can fold a piece of paper neatly in half, you have the basic paper folding skills needed. Materials provided.

TODAY - Broadway out west

Theatre Arts for Kids will be performing today at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the San Carlo Room in Friend. Please plan to attend and let the kids showcase what they have learned all week at camp.

Crete senior legion falls in shut out

The Crete Senior Legion Post 147 baseball team traveled to Hickman on June 5 and couldn't get on the board, losing 8-0 to Gana Trucking Hickman Post 105.
